One of the classic 90's bands! Svastika played high, hard and raw Oi-influenced rock.

The year was 1991 when some Linköping youngsters formed the band Svastika. After a few years of scratching, they made a name when in their live debut they shared a scene with greats like No Remorse, in Gothenburg in 1993. Another year later it was time for a record debut where they contributed 3 dangles to the collection album Nordland II.

Just Svastika and No Remorse came to form a friendship and, in addition to sharing the stage later, would also share space on the split CD We play for you. Their only own full-length "In Hoc Signo Vinces" was released in 1995 and rounded off the band's career. Parts of the members continued their music careers even after Svastika's closure.

The singer Matti Sundqvist released a solo album and the band Svitjod was born in which members from Svastika and Fyrdung housed.
